Brads
Brads are available in many types and sizes. The thickness of the metal wire is usually shown according to the American Wire Gauge system, such as 16G, 18G, 21G and so on. It is also common to name an 18G brad a mini brad and a 21G brad a micro brad.
Brads are used for finishing. Headless brads are mostly called pins. Brads can be on a straight strip, but also angled like DA brads and FN brads.
Finishing brads are available in galvanized steel, in an extra hardened quality, in stainless steel, but some types also in aluminum or even plastic (polymer).
Note: Before you buy always check the minimum and maximum length of the finish nails that fit in your bradder (mentioned in the tool owner's manual)
